Shrimp Chow Mein is an easy Chinese Noodles Recipe. Packed with shrimp and vegetables, it's a complete meal with fibre and protein that can be made in under 30 minutes.

1. Add the sauce to the cooked noodles. If using rice vermicelli, you can just soak it in hot water (no need to boil.)

2. Cook the shrimp till just done, then plate. (Don't overcook- the shrimp should remain in a "C" shape, not an "O" shape.)

3. In the same pan- less washing!- stir fry the aromatics for the shrimp noodles till fragrant.

4. Now add the carrots, cook till tender but not too soft, with the spices.

5. If using, add the beaten egg and scramble. 6. Add the noodles and shrimp and stir till well-mixed.
