Gochujang Mushrooms (Oven Roasted)

These Roasted Gochujang Mushrooms are baked in the oven till umamilicious. This spicy dish is the perfect Korean oyster mushroom side dish for Christmas and family dinners- and they only require 5 minutes and 25 minutes baking time!

Equipment

  • 1 baking pan
  • 1 payment paper
  • 1 Knife and cutting board

Ingredients

  • 0.9 lb king oyster mushrooms (400g) The thickness will affect the roasting time so cut into 1-1.5 inch rounds (as shown above.)
  • 1 Tablespoon Korean gochujang paste
  • 1 Tablespoon oyster sauce
  • Tablespoon light soy sauce
  • Tablespoon vegetable oil olive oil or sesame oil.
  • Lightly toasted sesame seeds Optional Garnish

Instructions

  • Mix the sauces till no lumps remain. Marinate the mushrooms in the sauces for at least 20 minutes.
  • Bake at 220/ 200C fan for 25 minutes. (Keep an eye on the oven to see if the mushrooms are burning- if so, cover with an aluminium foil.)
