Quick & Easy Asian Spaghetti Noodle Stir Fry Dishes, from chow mein in authentic garlic sauce, garlic butter noodles, and stir fried homemade chicken lo mein with spaghetti to creamy Korean pasta, spicy Thai noodles and more. Perfect for busy weeknight dinners!

You can, of course, use authentic Asian noodles (such as fresh egg noodles) instead of the dried spaghetti pasta I've used in the following recipes.
However, I've used spaghetti and linguine noodles to make everyone's life easier, as they're easier to find than (for example) Chinese fresh egg noodles and last for a long time in the pantry! (Different Asian recipes require specific types of noodles.)

Chicken
Lo Mein

I recommend using dark chicken meat/ thighs as they're juicier and have more flavor. Either way, whether you use chicken thighs or chicken breast, remember to cut it into even pieces so that the chicken cubes take the same amount of time to cook.

👩 Expert Tips
Tip #1: If Asian recipes call for white pepper, remember that less is more. White pepper has a super strong flavor and can be overpowering. (Also, black pepper is not a substitute!)
Tip #2: The key to Chinese stir-frying is high heat, to give it the smoky flavor. (This can be hard to recreate at home with our less powerful burners though.) Your spatula is constantly in motion as you only want seconds of contact between the ingredients and the hot wok, so remember to do your mis en place i.e. place all the pre-cut ingredients in a small bowl nearby before starting the stir frying.
Tip #3: For authentic flavor, use a neutral vegetable oil (and not olive oil) to stir-fry.
