This easy Matcha Chocolate drink only needs 3 ingredients and is a must-have for your winter hot chocolate bar. A cozy hot chocolate matcha drink for cold days, perfect for fall and winter and better than Starbucks and perfect for your home cafe. If it's Royce style chocolate truffles you're after, I have a recipe for that too. (Link below.)

🥘 Ingredients
You will need a few simple ingredients:
- 2-3 teaspoons matcha powder: see the photo below for why fresh matcha powder is important. (Don't forget to store it in the fridge in an airtight container that blocks out the light.) You can use green tea powder if you want to save money but the color won't be as vibrant.t
- ⅔ Cups of white chocolate: don't use chocolate chips as they don't melt well due to the stabilisers inside.
- ⅔ Cups of full-fat milk: for the best milk to use for matcha lattes, click here. I like dairy milk but nutritionally it's not the best choice.
- ¼ Cup hot water
- Sweetener: optional. I suggest using a liquid sweetener, such as honey, so that you can stir it in after you've assembled the matcha chocolate drink. This is because white chocolate is already quite sweet so you may not want any extra sugar at all- the first time I tested this recipe, I used 2 Sugar cubes and it was way too cloying!
- Optional toppings: marshmallows, whipped cream
Serve with some homemade Royce matcha Chocolate.
