(Also you don't have to leave the AC in this heat to grab your favourite drink! Simply use a white tea bag if you prefer the original white tea version.)

    Hojicha Latte

This creamy drink is a good choice for days when you want something thicker!

    Hojicha Latte (Starbucks)
Hojicha Latte is a delicious cafe-style drink with nutty, roasted flavors that only requires 3 ingredients and can be made in under 10 minutes!

    Vanilla Matcha Latte

A tall glass of vanilla matcha latte on a teacloth.

I was surprised by how well these 2 popular flavors go together- vanilla adds a warm sweetness to earthy matcha green tea, which reduces the amount of sugar or honey you need to add.

Definitely a plus! Serve with some matcha cream cheese cake on the side, for extra green tea flavor.

Tip: Having homemade matcha simple syrup in the fridge will speed up making this latte! It also goes very well with this Royce Chocolate Inspired Green Tea Chocolate

    Vanilla Matcha Latte (Starbucks Copycat)
This creamy Vanilla Matcha Latte recipe is a cheaper and easy version of the original Starbucks. The terrific combination of earthy matcha, creamy milk, and touch of sweet vanilla is will leave you craving for more!

    Pineapple Matcha Latte

These Starbucks fruit drinks are fun and fresh, to go with the warming weather.

Nothing says summer drinks better than pineapples, strawberries, and blueberries!

A glass of matcha coconut latte with pineapple.

This is one of the healthiest Starbucks drinks you can make at home- the pineapple is so sweet, you don't need to add sugar!

If you want to make this often, I suggest prepping some spiced pineapple ginger simple syrup first!

    Pineapple Matcha Starbucks Drink
This Starbucks copycat pineapple matcha drink recipe is the perfect tropical drink for summer. It's fruity and creamy, healthier than the original and better for your budget!

    Strawberry

A bowl of cut up strawberries with sugar next to milk and green tea powder.

There's nothing like strawberries to remind you of spring (or summer actually.)

I use homemade strawberry puree here, but you can also use strawberry jam- you will need more milk as jam is thicker, and remember to add less sugar!

    Strawberry Matcha Latte
This easy Strawberry Matcha Latte is the perfect delicious drink for summer! (Starbucks copycat) I also show you how to create a layered effect in the drink and how to make matcha if you don't have a bamboo whisk.

    Oat Milk (Vegan)

A mason jar green latte made with oat milk and matcha surrounded by pink flowers.

If you want to save on a bamboo whisk, you can try the method of shaking the matcha powder vigorously in a (tightly closed) Mason Jar. (Matcha doesn't dissolve in water- the whisking produces a suspension instead.)

Shaking is not fool-proof though: look at the glass of chai green tea drink below- you can see a few clumps of the Japanese green powder.

    📋 Oat Milk Matcha Latte
A creamy and delicious Oat Milk Matcha Latte, made using 3 ingredients in 5 minutes. No fancy equipment required- you don't even need a matcha whisk!

    Chai

Homemade Chai Syrup is great for this recipe!

    Blueberry Matcha

Matcha milk poured over blueberry puree in a glass cup.

If you're having this for tea, why not add some homemade matcha mochi muffins?

    Blueberry Matcha Latte (Dunkin Inspired)
Blueberry Matcha Latte is a luxuriously sweet and creamy drink that is super easy to make. You only need 15 minutes, 4 easy-to-find ingredients and 4 steps to recreate this Dunkin Donuts drink, which is great iced in the summer or warm in winter!

    Expert Tips

Tip #1: Matcha powder clumps easily, so for best results (for a smooth drink), sieve the powder first.

Hi I'm Zhen also known as GGG! I couldn't boil water till I was 18! However, I love creating community and nurturing people, so when I lived abroad (in St. Andrews then London) for 11 years, I started hosting regular parties for friends, and that's how I started cooking and helping out in professional kitchens. (Couldn't cook before that!) I even organised a supper club for charity (which strangers came to!) Learning to cook late, I make sure my recipes go into enough detail for those new to Asian cuisine or who love a test kitchen approach to cooking!
